MCP ServerMCP Tools

MCP Tools

Browse Bridge MCP tools and understand the limits of the published tool and permission metadata.

OAuth scopes and action safety

Bridge MCP supports two server-level OAuth scopes:

  • read: Covers meetings, transcripts, briefs, people, and action items.
  • write: Permits Bridge actions.

The public catalog does not classify individual tools as requiring read, write, or both, and does not define per-tool OAuth scope assignments. Do not infer a tool's required scope from its name, purpose, or example. Review the OAuth consent screen and your workspace permissions to understand the access granted to the connection.

Some higher-impact changes may return a preview that requires confirmation. Smaller changes may apply immediately and can be reversed.

Tool metadata limits

The public catalog provides only the following metadata for each tool:

  • The lowercase snake-case tool name
  • The human-readable tool title

It does not provide:

  • Required or optional arguments
  • Argument names or types
  • Default values or validation rules
  • Input or output schemas
  • Return fields or error responses
  • Pagination, filtering, sorting, or limit behavior
  • Per-tool OAuth scopes

Do not infer input or output schemas, arguments, or parameter behavior from the examples in this page. Call get_bridge_context before using other tools to inspect the context and tools available under the current plan and connection. Use the client-provided tools/list response for the input schema required to construct each tool call.

Available MCP tools

These tables mirror the tool inventory in the Bridge MCP guide. The public catalog does not define per-tool OAuth scopes or formal input and output schemas. Examples describe user intent and are illustrative. They do not define formal parameters, accepted values, or request schemas.

The public catalog lists each tool's name and title, but does not publish per-tool scopes, input schemas, output schemas, argument lists, or other parameter details. Use the MCP tools/list response as the authoritative source for input schemas available to your client.
