ConversationsHost a meeting

Host a meeting in Bridge

People and teams can host natively in Bridge with an instant meeting or a meeting scheduled for later. Guests join from a link.

You can run the video call inside Bridge instead of sending people to Zoom, Meet, or Teams. Anyone with the link can join. Signed-in teammates join directly; guests enter Your name and either Join meeting or Request to join.

Start instant meeting and Create meeting for later are marked Beta in New.

Start an instant meeting

Open New

In the sidebar, click New.

Start instant meeting

Choose Start instant meeting. Bridge creates the room and opens it for you as host.

Share the link

Invite people with the meeting link. They open /meet/… in the browser.

Create a meeting for later

Open New

Click New, then Create meeting for later.

Set time and details

Choose when the meeting should happen and save it. It shows up under Meetings as Upcoming, with a brief like any other scheduled event.

Join when it starts

Open the meeting from Meetings or the link. As host you can Admit people who requested to join.

How guests join

Open the meeting link

Guests do not need a Bridge account. They land on the pre-join screen.

Enter a name

Fill in Your name.

Join or request

If the meeting allows it, they see Join meeting. Otherwise they see Request to join and wait until a host clicks Admit.

When someone leaves, they may see You left the meeting. If you end it as host, others see Host has ended the meeting.

After the call

The hosted meeting is captured like any other conversation: live Conversation, Assistant, and Notepad during the call, then notes and recordings when it ends.

Prefer to stay on Zoom, Meet, or Teams? Add Bridge to that call instead of hosting natively.
