Agentic workflows
Automate agents after every meeting, on a schedule, or on demand. Configure triggers for proactive and post-meeting runs, or generate an agent-led workflow plan from any completed meeting's action items directly in the Assistant.
Agentic workflows
Agentic workflows let agents run automatically, not only when you @mention them. Configure triggers so an agent contributes proactively during meetings, runs against every meeting recap, or fires on a recurring schedule.
You can also generate a workflow plan from any completed meeting. Open the Assistant on a recap, and Bridge proposes step-by-step next actions based on the meeting's action items, some an agent can handle automatically through your connected tools, others for you to complete.
Trigger types for automation
Choose the trigger that matches when you want the agent to run.
- After every meeting: The agent runs automatically against the recap and transcript as soon as the meeting ends. Use this trigger for post-meeting follow ups, email automation, scheduling, notifications, and more.
- Scheduled: The agent runs on a recurring schedule every few days, weeks, or months. Set the interval, time, start date, end date, and timezone, then review the next-occurrence preview. Scheduled agent results can be found on the workspace Assistant page or from Chats in the sidebar.
Creating a workflow trigger
Create a trigger from the agent's settings page.
Open the agent
Go to the agent's settings page and scroll to the Triggers section.
Choose a trigger type
Select one of the four trigger types. Each type reveals its own configuration options.
Configure the trigger
Set options for post-meeting triggers or scheduled triggers. For scheduled triggers, confirm that the next occurrence preview matches your expectation.
Save
Save the trigger. The agent now runs automatically according to the configuration.
Agentic workflows and workflow plans require a paid plan. Free plans can use only @mention activation.
Workflow plans from completed meetings
Beyond automatic triggers, you can generate a workflow plan on demand from any completed meeting. Bridge reads the recap, transcript, and action items, then proposes a step-by-step plan of next actions — some an agent can run for you through connected tools, others for you to complete.
Generating a plan
Open a completed meeting
Navigate to a completed meeting and view the Assistant panel.
Start the plan
Click Plan and execute next steps in the pill above the Assistant input, or select Workflow from the toolbar menu.
Review the proposed steps
Bridge inserts a Workflow Plan card in the Assistant chat. The plan lists agent steps and your steps based on what was discussed and captured.
Working with plan steps
The plan separates steps into two groups:
- Agent steps ("I can handle these"): Tasks the agent can run using connected integrations — Gmail, Slack, Notion, Linear, ClickUp, Attio, Google Docs, and Google Calendar. Each step shows its status as it moves from proposed to executing to done.
- Your steps ("For you"): Action items for you to complete, shown as checkable tasks you can mark done.
For each agent step you can:
- Activate — run that step immediately
- Approve — confirm a proposed step before it executes
- Revise — change what the agent does before running it
- Skip — leave the step out of the plan
- Connect — link a required integration if the step needs one that isn't connected yet
You can also choose Activate Plan to run all agent steps at once, or Cancel to stop a plan that's in progress.
A step marked needs connection means the agent needs an integration linked before it can run. Connect the integration, then activate or approve the step.
