Notetaking
After a meeting you get structured notes, the conversation transcript, meeting recording, meeting intelligence, access to a meeting assistant, and more.
When a conversation ends, it moves to Meetings → Completed (and Recent meeting notes on Home). Open it to review what was said and what to do next.
Meeting header
The header on a completed meeting shows key details at a glance:
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | The meeting title. Owners and members can rename it inline by clicking — up to 75 characters. |
| Status | The meeting stage: Completed, Live, or Upcoming. |
| Date | Relative labels (Today, Yesterday) or a formatted date such as Mon, Sep 28. |
| Time | A start–end range such as 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Some imported sources show only the date. |
| Participants | Avatars for people and agents on the call. Up to five are shown with overflow. Click the row to open the Participants tab. |
| Source | An icon showing where the meeting came from — Bridge, Zoom, Google Meet, and more. Hover for the full label. |
| Space | The space the meeting is filed in, if any. Use Add to Space to organize it. |
| Labels | Applied labels, visible as pills. Use Update Label to add or remove them. |

Action items
Notes include assigned action items if there were any discussed during the meeting. They also appear in the Action items list on Home. Bridge also suggests action items based on your context. Action items can also be created and the type of action item can be adjusted.
Meeting note templates
Recap templates use the transcript to change the shape of structured notes to match whatever structure you need. Preset examples include common meeting types such as Key Takeaways and 1:1s. Custom templates can be created and managed from the recap templates menu (by selecting the dropdown for ‘Key Takeaways’) or from Preferences → Recap Templates.
Share notes
Choose Share in the meeting header to invite people and share notes.
Completed meetings can stay private, go to specific people, go to the full workspace (or workspace groups on Business plan), or open with a public link.
Visitors on the public page can only read Notes and Conversation — they can't edit or share further.
For recurring shares, turn on Recap Auto-Sharing in Preferences. Or, create an agent to automate this action for you.
Use Add to Space to file the meeting in a shared Space so people with access can open it from the space.
See Share notes for the full guide to sharing meetings.
Export the transcript
From the meeting, use Export Transcript to download the conversation text.
Transcripts can be exported in the following ways:
- Copy full transcript to clipboard
- Export as PDF file
- Export as Word file
- Export as Markdown file
Transcripts can also be accessed using the Bridge MCP.
Labels
Update Label tags a meeting so you can filter, find it later, and analyze those meeting. Preset labels are grouped into Area, Relationship, and Format, and you can create custom labels for your own categories. Labels are multi-select, so a meeting can have several.
When Briefs are created, preset labels are automatically determined from the meeting context — you can change or remove them at any time.
See Labels for the full guide.
The Assistant
The Assistant tab on a completed meeting lets you chat with that meeting's data, pull out specific details, or take action using connected tools. Responses are scoped to that meeting unless you enable additional capabilities like web search.
From the Assistant within a meeting recap, you can also launch agentic workflows — multi-step agent processes that run directly from the meeting's content.
See Assistant capabilities for the full breakdown of what the Assistant can do in each workspace location.
Imported or uploaded meetings
Imported meetings from Granola, Fireflies, and similar tools look like any other completed meeting.
Uploaded meetings from a audio, video, document or pasted transcripts will also be standardized to look like other completed meetings.
A source indicator shows where all meetings originated from.
See Import meetings.
