Managing bookings
Track confirmed bookings, review invitee intake details in Briefs, and reschedule or cancel upcoming meetings from Bridge.
Manage a booking from confirmation to meeting
Bridge turns a completed booking into a meeting you find in the Meetings inbox, manage when changes are needed, and get prepared for.
After an invitee books:
- Bridge creates the calendar event for the invitee, guests (optional), and the assigned host(s).
- Once the event is on the calendar, a Brief is automatically created in Bridge for the assigned host(s).
- The assigned host(s) can find the Brief will all booking details on the Meetings page.
For information about what invitees see while booking, see Visitor experience.
Find Bridge-booked meetings
All meetings booked through Bridge automatically generate a Brief that will be visible on the Meetings inbox. Use the Meeting page to find, view, and manage all meetings booked through Bridge.
Filter for Bridge bookings
All bookings are automatically visible on the Meetings page, however, to filter meetings exclusively for those booked on Bridge: open meeting inbox Filters -> open the Bookings filter -> select Only show meetings booked on Bridge.
Search for a specific booking
To narrow the results to one booking page, you can search or select a specific booking page from the Bookings filter.
The Bookings filter can also be combined with other filters to narrow results by date, people, company, and more.
Open the meeting
Open the upcoming, live, past, or canceled meeting and select Preparation to review the preparation details and the booking intake details.
Use Find meetings for broader guidance on searching and filtering the Meetings inbox.
Review booking intake details
Open the meeting and select the Preparation tab. The booking intake appears on the Brief and remains available on the live, past, or canceled meetings.
The intake includes:
- Booking page
- Booking date
- Invitee name and email
- Notes, when provided
- Phone and text notification consent, when collected
- Responses to the booking form
- Source attribution, when available
- Cancellation status and reason, when applicable
- Calendar sync status and error details when synchronization is unsuccessful
The Preparation tab also brings together the meeting description, participant context, and previous action items. See Preparation for more about the information available before a meeting.
Reschedule or cancel a host booking
You can manage a booking from the Meetings inbox when all of these conditions are met:
- The booking exists.
- You are the booking host.
- The meeting is upcoming.
After locating the booking on the Meetings page:
- Open the actions from the more menu on the meeting and select Reschedule booking or Cancel booking.
- For a reschedule, choose a new available time and confirm it.
- For a cancellation, confirm the cancellation and optionally add a message. Bookings canceled by the invitee or the assigned host can be found by selecting the Canceled option within the Status filter.
- Bridge notifies the invitee of a reschedule or cancellation and removes the calendar event when canceled.
The Reschedule booking and Cancel booking actions are not available for every meeting. They are limited to confirmed, upcoming bookings hosted by the signed-in user.
How invitees manage their booking
Invitees can use the booking management link they receive in the confirmation email and the calendar invitation to Reschedule or Cancel a booking.
Rescheduling updates the meeting time, while a cancellation (with an optional reason) will remove the calendar event.
Changes to the booking are unavailable once the meeting has started or passed.
See Visitor experience for more details.
