Record an in-person meeting
Capture a room meeting with your microphone from the web app or the Mac desktop app — no Zoom, Meet, or Teams required.
Use this when people are in the same room (or a hybrid room) and there is no video-conference link to paste. Bridge records from your device and still produces a transcript, notes, and the usual meeting workspace.
Open New
In the sidebar, click New.
Start recording
Choose Record in-person meeting. Allow the browser to use your microphone if it asks.
Run the meeting
Stay on the capture screen. You get a live Conversation as speech is transcribed. Use Notepad and Assistant the same way as on a virtual call.
Stop when you are done
End the recording from the capture controls. Bridge finalizes notes under Meetings → Completed.
On an Apple Silicon Mac, in-person recording is a first-class path in the desktop app.
Open the Mac app
Install it from Download Mac desktop app in the workspace menu if you have not already. See Platforms.
Start an in-person recording
Click New, then Record in-person meeting. Grant microphone access if macOS asks.
Finish the meeting
Stop recording when the conversation ends. Notes appear in Meetings like any other capture.
Open New
On Meetings, tap the New button.
Record in person
Choose Record in-person meeting and allow the microphone.
Keep the tab open
Stay in the browser until you stop the recording so capture is not interrupted.
Place the device where it can hear everyone. Afterward you can fix speaker names on the transcript if the recording labeled people as Person 1, Person 2, and so on.
