Capture a virtual meeting outside Bridge
Capture a meeting on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack Huddles, WebEx, and GoTo Meeting. Capturing meetings outside of Bridge still allows you to get Preparation, Live AI, Notetaking, Automation, Memory, and more.
There are two ways to capture a virtual meeting outside Bridge:
- Bot-free capture using the Bridge Desktop App for Mac. Supports Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack Huddles, WebEx, and GoTo Meeting. Installation required.
- Bot-based capture using the Bridge Agent. Supports Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. No installation or additional integrations required.
Bot-free capture using the Bridge Desktop App on Mac
To get started, download the desktop app by selecting 'Download for Mac':
- After download is complete, select the ‘Bridge’ installation app.
- Click and drag Bridge into the ‘Applications’ folder.
- Exit out of modal, navigate to ‘Applications’ folder and open the ‘Bridge’ app.
- Create an account or sign in using an existing an account.
- After logged in, allow Bridge permissions to your mic, screen, and accessibility. This is required for Bridge to record your audio, participant audio, and auto-detect meetings.
- Once all permissions are granted, select ‘Restart Bridge'.
- After restarted, the Bridge Desktop App is ready to start recording.
- Use ‘Record Virtual Audio’ to capture virtual meetings or use ‘In-Person Audio” to record in-person meetings.

Bot-based capture using the Bridge Agent
The Bridge Agent can join meetings automatically or manually.
Automatically adding the Bridge Agent to meetings
In order to automatically add the Bridge Agent to your meetings, you must have your Google Calendar or Outlook calendar connected.
Once your calendar is connected, you can configure which meetings the Bridge Agent will join.
If your calendar is connected, and you see upcoming or live events:
- If the Bridge Agent is not in the meeting yet, selecting Capture with Bridge will send Bridge to the meeting.
- If the Bridge Agent is already in the meeting, selecting Open Live AI opens the live Capture view.
Meetings that the Bridge Agent is automatically joining will display a lightning bolt icon on the Meeting card.
Manually adding the Bridge Agent to a meeting
If your calendar is not connected, and you do not see upcoming or live events:
- In the sidebar, click New.
- Select Capture on Zoom, Meet, or Teams. The Add Bridge to your meeting dialog opens.
- In the Meeting URL field, paste the Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams conference link.
- Click Add To Meeting. Bridge Agent will request to join the meeting and the live Capture view will open to view Live AI.
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook so those events show up automatically.
If Bridge does not join the meeting, confirm the URL is a valid conference link (not a calendar invite, dial-in number, etc) and that the host admits the Bridge Agent. See Troubleshooting.
If your calendar is connected, and you see upcoming or live events:
- If the Bridge Agent is not in the meeting yet, selecting Capture with Bridge will send Bridge to the meeting.
- If the Bridge Agent is already in the meeting, selecting Open Live AI opens the live Capture view.
Turn on Calendar Auto-Join in Preferences so Bridge Agent joins automatically.
If Bridge does not join the meeting, confirm the calendar event has a valid conferencing link, and that the host admits the Bridge Agent. See Troubleshooting.
Zoom-specific support
For Zoom, if you want the Bridge Agent to bypass the waiting room for meetings you host: Connect your calendar → open 'Integrations' → select 'Manage' under the Zoom integration → authorize your Zoom account.
Breakout room support is only available on Zoom. The Bridge Agent is treated like a participant, so it will join the breakout room it's manually or randomly assigned to.
